Welcome to this website for Susan Jordan: Poetry and Other Writings, where you can find details of my books and some information about me. I'm a poet and writer and I also offer workshops and help with editing. As well as writing I teach Focusing, a gentle but powerful way of contacting our inner experience which is highly compatible with writing.​

New edition of The Box
(First published 2024)
The Box, a novel, was published by Palewell Press in 2024. Palewell have now brought out a new edition in a smaller format and with a redesigned cover.

Kate has died suddenly. Her husband, Richard, their ten-year-old son, Rick, and her twin sister, Jo, are s shocked and devastated. An awkward but caring relationship develops between Richard and Jo as they face their grief and Jo uncovers deeply disturbing memories from the twins' shared childhood. As she does so Jo, a long-time mental health patient, begins to find hope and self-belief.
